The UCL Undergraduate Bursary is one of a wide range of schemes offering financial support for tuition fees, accommodation and living costs for those UCL students with the greatest financial need.

The UCL Undergraduate Bursary scheme听is听assessed on the basis of household income. To be eligible for the scheme students will听have to be domiciled in the UK,听and have a household income of less than 拢42,875.听

鈥淭o help ensure students from lower-income households can benefit from a UCL education, the university offers bursaries to all听eligible听students,鈥� explains Kevin King, Head of Student Funding.听听

The value of the bursary is banded, with students from the lowest income households receiving 拢3,350听in the academic year 2020鈥�21.听The Bursary is given in each year of undergraduate study and may change depending on听household income.听

Students听do not need to apply directly; their eligibility is based on the information they provide听to their regional funding authority during the university funding application process.听
