UCL Urology is a diverse community of urologists and scientists across UCL, UCLH and the Royal Free Hospital, using radical and critical thinking to transform understanding of urological disease, and delivery of care for urological patients across the spectrum of urological conditions.

MRI scans improve prostate cancer diagnosis in screening trial

Using MRI as a screening test alongside PSA density allowed detection of cancers that would have been missed by the blood test alone, according to new research.

Unique clinical imaging dataset to improve prostate cancer diagnosis

The National Cancer Imaging Translational Accelerator in partnership with the ReIMAGINE Consortium have released a unique clinical imaging dataset from the Prostate MRI Imaging Study (PROMIS).

Prof. Caroline Moore is awarded a prestigious NIHR Professorship for BeSpoke: Building and evaluating a risk stratified prostate pathway for cancer screening, detection, treatment and surveillance.

PRIME team win at European Association of Urology

The UCL Division of Surgery & Interventional Sciences PRIME team has been recognised by the European Association of Urology (EAU) 2023 in Milan with a prestigious prize.
