About Nosheen

What was your experience of Further/Higher education like?ÌýÌý

I studiedÌýJournalism andÌýreally enjoyed all the practical elementsÌýof the degree. I made some great friends at university.ÌýHowever, I found overcomingÌýcertain challengesÌýdifficult at university.ÌýI was the first in my family to go to university and found the experience overwhelmingÌýat times. IÌýwish I had known about support services availableÌýto me, it would’ve made a big difference.ÌýÌý

What do you like most about your work as a Student Adviser?

The thing I love the most about being a student adviser is talking to students and being part of their UCL experience. The highs and the lows. I'm really glad I can offer student the time to talk through things and signpost services that will support them in their journey at »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË. It's really rewarding.Ìý

What's a surprising or interesting fact about yourself?

I used to interview A-list Bollywood actors forÌýa music magazine! My claim to fame is having a coffee with AmitabhÌýBachman.Ìý
