A sample of summer schools in North America. Students apply directly the host institution, then can apply for short-term mobility funding to support their studies.

The McGill School of Continuing Studies offers Short Programs that bring students from around the world to learn about topics such as Big Data, Business Analytics, Communications, and Machine Learning, all while experiencing the McGill campus and everything that Montreal has to offer. These programs traditionally consist of two courses and lead to a transcript and an attestation of completion of the program.

HEC Montréal Business French School

Study at the only graduate school of management in North America to offer a Business French Summer School.ÌýThe programme includes Business French courses, communication workshops, marketing and management seminars, company visits and socio-cultural and sports activities.

University of British Columbia Vancouver Summer Program (UBC VSP)

A four-week experience for international undergraduate students a. UBC VSP is as much about academics as it is about social and cultural experiences. Choose from over 70 course packages in a range of disciplines. Included activities differ according to course packages, with some including socio-cultural activities.

June Session: 7 June - 7 July 2024 

July Session: 12 July - 12 August 2024

Programme Fees: CAD5,625 (includes tuition accommodation, transport to and from the airport, a city tour of Vancouver, a welcome event, and a farewell lunchcourse materials and medical insurance. Some course packages will have activities that are partly subsidized or come at an additional cost)

The Global Academic Program (GAP) allows newly admitted and visiting international students the opportunity to enrol in a variety of academic courses across multiple academic departments and disciplines at Stony Brook.Ìý Admission to some courses is subject to department review, in order to ensure that students have satisfied the course entry requirements.

Study of the US Institutes (SUSI)

Undergraduate students are invited to apply for the SUSI programme, a FULLY FUNDED opportunity at Shippensburg University, Pennsylvania. This year's theme is Environmental Issues and will include meeting with local and non-profit organisations, community engagements, lectures and more. The programme intends to begin with an opening forum in Washington D.C., bringing together participants to network, develop leadership skills and discuss current affairs from multi-regional perspectives.
