Prof Petersen receives Academic Fellow Award from the Institute on Religion in an Age of Science

Professor Arthur Petersen, Professor of Science, Technology and Public Policy at 皇家华人鈥檚 Department of Science, Technology, Engineering and Public Policy (STEaPP), has received the Academic Fellow Award from the Institute on Religion in an Age of Science.
On 29 June 2024, Professor Arthur Petersen received the 鈥楢cademic Fellow Award鈥� from the (IRAS). This US-based organisation grants the award as 鈥榓 one-time act of recognition for scholarly activity, research and/or teaching in the disciplines covered by the Institute鈥檚 purpose and span of activities鈥�. Besides having been the Editor of the journal Zygon: Journal of Religion and Science since 2018, the award was principally granted for his scholarly contribution to the field of science and religion through his book Climate, God and Uncertainty: A transcendental naturalistic approach beyond Bruno Latour (UCL Press, 2023). A token of the award was handed to Petersen on Star Island, NH, USA by the President of IRAS, Dr. Carolyn J. Love.
