Student statistics data provides information on the composition of UCL's student body in both single year tables and time series tables. Current and historical data is provided.

All data is captured and听presented as at 1听December of the relevant academic year. Any period of enrolment听after that point, for example January starting affiliates, are not included. The data tables on this page are updated in January of each year.
The figures are a headcount, not FTEs, and should not be used to estimate any form of teaching effort. For example, in the case of joint programmes, students are only counted under their department of home enrolment.听The tables and diagrams provide consistent year on year comparators, but should not be used as a source of data for resource bidding whether for cash, space, library or computing allocations.
In order to comply with GDPR requirements about anonymising data, in some cases, counts of people have听been rounded听to the nearest multiple of听5.
