Microbiology@UCLis working withUCLInnovation & Enterprise, UCLInstitute of Education, UCL Community Engaged Learning, and theinitiativeto design, deliver, and assess hands-on microbiology learning activities for primary and secondary school children. If you are a UCL student, post-doc, or academic interested in participating please get in touch.

We delivered our series of microbiology lessons to Year 5 (age 10-11) schoolchildren for the first time in June-July 2021. Check out to find out more about the activities, how it went, and what we're doing to widen the impact of the project.

People of all ages were infected withthe enthusiasm of microbes throughour “Wonderful World of Microbes” hands-on display table.
