Longer heatwaves driven by 鈥榯urbo-charged鈥� climate change, say scientists

Experts do not expect any major changes in weather type the next couple of weeks. Professor Julienne Stroeve (UCL Earth Sciences) says this is because a heat dome stretching from north-west Africa to southern Europe 鈥渁ppears to be stuck in place鈥�.
