The narrative of health workers as 鈥榟eroes鈥� or 鈥榓ngels鈥� during Covid-19 is unhelpful, as it paints a picture of people doing things because they鈥檙e special, rather than workers doing a job that needs adequate pay and protection, argues Dr Jo Billings (UCL Psychiatry).
