Signs that mean a patient needs to be moved to intensive care

The trajectory of a patient’s illness can signal whether they need moving to intensive care, but so can deep and fast breathing, with many patients moved to intensive care as a cautionary measure in case they decline suddenly, explains Professor Hugh Montgomery (UCL Medicine).
