The听Mayor听has declared a听鈥溾�澨齮o听help听NHS London, local authorities and other essential services support each other and reduce service disruption听in the capital.听

A major incident is any event or situation which allows special arrangements to be put in place by听the emergency services, the NHS or local authorities.听听

听At the present time, there is no change to UK Government advice or guidance from UCL.听听

Please check the听鈥痑苍诲鈥�, as well as鈥疷CL鈥檚听coronavirus information hub, for the latest听updates, especially if you are planning to travel over the winter break.鈥�听

Keeping safe听on campus听

UCL is听following UK Government guidance and advice from听our听Public Health experts to keep everyone on campus听as safe as possible.听Staff and students onsite should continue to follow鈥痶he听measures we have put in place听and remember:听

• 鈥痮r boosted against COVID-19 if you can. The听听at鈥疊idborough鈥疕ouse is鈥痗urrently accepting walk-in appointments, although these may be suspended at鈥痸ery busy鈥痶imes. You can find your closest walk-in vaccination centre .鈥�舛寞听

• Face coverings are mandatory听while indoors on鈥痗ampus unless鈥痽ou are exempt.鈥�听

• You must not come to campus if you are unwell.听Get tested with a free听鈥痠f you think you may have COVID-19.听

• Get tested at least twice a week with a free听Lateral Flow Test (LFT), and before鈥痬ixing with people in crowded indoor places,鈥痚ven if you鈥痙on鈥檛鈥痟ave COVID-19 symptoms.听听

• Report your test results (positive or negative) to the听听补苍诲鈥�UCL Connect to Protect.鈥�听

Teaching in Term 2听

UK Government听guidance states that听universities should remain open鈥痜or鈥痜ace-to-face鈥痚ducation and learning support. This听is鈥痑lso鈥痶he advice from听UCL鈥檚听Public Health鈥痚xperts.鈥�听

All students should plan to travel to campus for face-to-face teaching for the start of Term 2, unless they are on a remote learning pathway. 皇家华人ill keep our position under review, in line with Government guidance and informed by our Public Health experts, and听we听will update you should anything change.听
