Bartlett Researchers win EPSRC Impact Accelerator Award

The听Bartlett听School of听Planning's听Prof Stephen Marshall, in conjunction with co-investigators听Dr Elsa Arcaute听of CASA and Prof Marc-Olivier Coppens of UCL's听Centre for Nature Inspired Engineering听(CNIE), and doctoral researcher听Yuerong Zhang, have won an EPSRC Impact Accelerator Award on the theme 'Transport Data Ecosystems'. The 拢13,400 award is to exploit potential linkages between Prof Marshall's earlier听nature-inspired project, on听听(funded by a CNIE Inspiration Grant), and the data management mission of the Department for Transport (DfT), where Yuerong Zhang will complete a six month secondment. This innovative, inter-disciplinary work will draw from data environment analogies with ecosystems, applied within the DfT's听Transport Infrastructure Skills & Efficiency Strategy听Living Lab. Ms Zhang's doctoral research is on听metro system resilience in London.
