Description

Content: Lectures cover recent developments in clinical psychology theory and practice. Early lectures generally address broad topics, such as Community Psychology and Technology in Clinical Psychology. After reading week, the theoretical and clinical topics are more specific, covering, for example, the treatment of specific disorders, like PTSD and depression, as well as novel theories of psychopathology (e.g. Network Theory). The topics build upon those taught in PSYC0015, Health & Clinical Psychology, so it is an advantage to have taken this module but it is not a formal requirement.

Teaching delivery: This module is taught in 15 hours of in-person lectures spread over 10 teaching weeks (usually in the format of 5 1-hour lectures in one half of term and 5 2-hour sessions in the other half of term).
