This module recognises the importance of research skills and evidence-based dentistry in the delivery of high quality patient care by integrating the teaching of this into their clinical practice. The module includes critical evaluation of published studies and guidelines, preparation of a research protocol, an introduction to the principals behind clinical research methods and on essential statistics.
