  1. Intermediate Akkadian A (HEBR0122)

Description

This course is a follow-up to introductory Akkadian, designed for students who already have some knowledge of Akkadian.Ìý

The course will focus on Akkadian 'science' texts, reading from cuneiform tablets (in cuneiform script) which deal with divination, magic, medicine, and other genres which can be classified as ancient science.Ìý Students will be expected to read from cuneiform sources which are previously been published and have available transliterations and translations for consultation.Ìý
