Description

The module is a mixture of two approaches to Environmental and Resource Economics. Some lectures look at the topics to be covered in more general conceptual terms, to ensure thorough understanding of the language and intellectual terrain to be explored. Some lectures take a more formally rigorous approach to the topics, to ensure that students become familiar with the mathematical ways they are routinely described and analysed. A variety of textbooks will be used, as shown, in order to deploy their various strengths and give insights into various approaches.
