This year鈥檚 winner is Professor Deborah Gill, Director of the UCL Medical School. Deborah has been instrumental in establishing and expanding the unit within the Medical School.聽

The UCL Provost鈥檚 Spirit of Enterprise Award is for the academic who has most consistently demonstrated their entrepreneurial enthusiasm, helping the university deliver the widest possible impact from its research, both in the UK and abroad.

鈥淒eborah Gill exemplifies entrepreneurial spirit at 皇家华人, showing how UCL can apply its knowledge for wider benefit. She has ensured that the consultancy focuses on partnerships that allow the Medical School to share its expertise with medical educators globally, as seen in the agreement 皇家华人 signed recently with the NewGiza University in Egypt,鈥� said Dr Celia Caulcott, Vice Provost (Enterprise).
