London wine & spirit merchant, brother-in-law of John Gladstone (q.v.) who married Divie's sister Anne and brother of Colin Robertson (q.v.).

1. Divie Robertson of St Martin-in-the-Fields, Middlesex, married Jane Rowland, daughter of Edward and Jane Rowland of Garthen Lodge, Ruabon, in Ruabon, Denbighshire on 18/07/1800. She was the daughter of Edward Rowland and his wife Jane (both q.v.).

2. In 1841 Divie Robertson aged 70 merchant born S [= Scotland] was living in Bedford Square with Jane Robertson aged 45 (born Wales).  Buried All Souls Kensal Green 21/05/1850 aged 83.  Son Divie was baptised 1825: when he died [as the Rev. Divie Robertson of Henfield Sussex] in 1894 he left £107,130 15s 7d.

3. Will of Divie Robertson of Bedford Square proved 11/06/1850. In the will Divie Robertson left annuities of £50 p.a. to his sister Johanna and niece Jane Catherine Robertson (daughter of his late brother Colin Robertson); £10 p.a. to his (retired) cellarman John Heath. The will detailed the provision Divie Robertson had made for his son Edward Lovett Robertson on his marriage to Augusta Ellis (a £100 p.a. annuity to her in her widowhood and £3000 to buy him a commission in the Dragoons), provided for his daughter Jane Tyler, and left his residual estate to his sons Andrew, Edward Lovett and Divie. In a codicil of 19/02/1850 he incorporated the settlement he had made on the marriage of his son Rev. Divie Robertson.
