PPI survey featured by NIHR

31 July 2012

Work by the BRC to develop support for researchers with Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) has been featured by the NIHR.

The article on the INVOLVE website focuses on a survey carried out by the BRC at the end of 2011 to assess researchers' PPI training needs. With 100 responses, the survey provided the BRC with invaluable information on what kind of training was needed and what format would attract researchers (for example topic preferences, time of day, length of sessions and so on).

INVOLVE is part of the NIHR and is the national advisory group promoting PPI in the NHS, public health and social care research.
