Equality Challenge Unit
The Institute of Ophthalmology is committed to pursuing the aims of the听, which recognises advancement of gender equality. The Institute was awarded the听Bronze Athena SWAN Award听in October 2018, recognising commitment to advancing women鈥檚 careers in STEMM academia. It is our intention to attract and retain world-leading scientists to a gender-equal environment conducive to career progression and the generation of life-changing advances in the field of eye and vision research.
罢丑别听听changed in 2015 to include professional and support staff, and trans staff. To reflect these changes, and to stress our goal in challenging all inequality, the local team has changed its name to the听Equality Challenge Team, and we will work towards ensuring good practice and support for all.
