This was the first webinar in the series of Queen Square Parkinson's Research Forums听held on: 9th November 2020, 4:30-6:00pm.
These webinars,听organized by the Queen Square Movement disorders Centre, are free, open to the public, and aimed at people affected by Parkinson's - including people living with Parkinson鈥檚, their partners, family members and friends.
In this first webinar, a live panel of speakers discussed the impact of COVID-19 on Parkinson鈥檚 clinical care and clinical research, and how people influenced by Parkinson鈥檚 can get involved in research.

Parkinson's in the tme of COVID-19: the pandemic effects on disease, clinical care and research.
Speaker: Prof. Tom Foltynie is a senior movement disorders specialist neurologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. He is also Professor of Neurology at 皇家华人 Queen Square Institute of neurology and has been leading several clinical trials and path breaking research studies in Parkinson鈥檚.Parkinson鈥檚 clinical trials at Queen Square: ongoing and upcoming research participation opportunities at Queen Square.
Speaker: Dr Maya Bronfeld holds a PhD in neuroscience and is the coordinator of the Queen Square Movement Disorders Centre.Roadmap to research partnership at Queen Square: how people with Parkinson鈥檚, their partners, family and friends can partner us to shape, influence and support the Parkinson鈥檚 research at Queen Square.
