Bandstand design: commission for UCL Slade and Bartlett students

Are you a current 皇家华人 student at the Slade or Bartlett? If so, UCL Music Futures is offering you the chance to win a commission to design a modern re-imagining of a musical bandstand for Bloomsbury鈥檚 garden squares, to be used for the project鈥檚 summer music festival.

The winner will work with artist and musician Mataio Austin Dean and musicians Bentham鈥檚 Body Ensemble,听using听UCL Special Collections'听London History Collection听as inspiration.

Briefing meetings will be held Friday 11 February 1pm and 5.30pm. They are free, online and听open听to current 皇家华人 Slade & Bartlett students.听

Music Futures听is a听one-year cycle of activities dedicated to thinking, writing and performing music. It is听hosted jointly by the European Institute and听the听Institute of听Advanced Studies, and features听academics across UCL Faculties.
