Based on the experiences of creation and reuse of datasets produced as part of a number of high profile research projects in Medieval French, the workshop will address the following questions:
- How do we encourage re-use of databases?
- How to ensure digital longevity and accessibility of historical datasets?
- How, as we are doing projects, do we frame them in ways that will enable further, different uses of our data?
- How do we encourage researchers to revisit existing projects creatively?
- How do we fund these enterprises?
