About the Institute
Vision
Our vision听is to collaborate across disciplines to find solutions to global health problems. We believe there is no single solution to the world鈥檚 health problems. A cross-disciplinary approach is at the heart of our research and teaching, and we draw on the expertise of over 200 staff from across UCL.
Research
We undertake听research听in developing and transitional countries, to change lives around the world.听We aim to produce world-class research which can be translated into workable solutions for policy makers.
Teaching
We give students the tools they need for a real understanding of global health work.听Staff with a unique breadth of experience听unite traditional public health concerns with economics, law, philosophy, geography, anthropology and many other disciplines.听
Collaborations
The cross-fertilisation and application of global health expertise at 皇家华人 is coordinated through the UCL Institute for Global Health.
Our Institute forms part of a wider community of departments and teams working on global health at 皇家华人.听This community helps us to foster close links and work on common goals with our colleagues at the Grand Challenge of Global Health, the Global Engagement office and the Africa Health Research Institute (AHRI).听
