Jane Botros

Director of Engagement & Communications

Jane helps UCL鈥檚 community engage in innovation and enterprise activities. She鈥檚 also building UCL鈥檚 reputation as one of the leading universities in the country at translating its knowledge and know-how externally.

Jane has spent over 20 years working in communications in both the public and private sectors. Before joining UCL she was on the Board of听PizzaExpress as Communications Director,听successfully managing the brand through the 2008 recession听and its later sale to private equity firm Hony Capital.

She was also part of the team that set up Virgin Unite, Virgin鈥檚 charitable foundation, leading award-winning campaigns that collaborated for a better world. Before this, Jane managed the PR for Pret A Manger, building the brand both nationally and internationally, at a time of great growth for the business.
