Departmental support

Departmental Manager

Francesca is responsible for the smooth running of Innovation & Enterprise operations, such as HR, compliance, and estates issues. Her main focus is to deliver and operationalise the department’s strategy, through planning internal communications, briefings, committee submissions, meetings, training and staff appraisals.

Francesca has a wide range of experience in operations, logistics, project management and leadership planning. She previously worked for the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) as Company Secretary, registered with Company House and the Charity Commission. At CIWEM Francesca worked with the Trustee Board to deliver their vision and strategy, with a focus on their diversity and inclusion programme.

Francesca has also previously worked in the UCL Mathematical & Physical Sciences Faculty Office as Office Manager and Executive Assistant to the Dean and Director of Operations.

Cody is responsible for the smooth running of Innovation & Enterprise operations, such as HR, compliance, and estates issues. He delivers and operationalises the department’s strategyÌýthrough planning internal communications, committee submissions, meetings, training and staff appraisals.

Cody has a wide range of experience in health and safety, emergency planning and food and beverage management. He previously worked for a local authority in Hertfordshire.

At Dacorum Borough Council, Cody worked with the Neighbourhood Operations team as the lead officer for Corporate Health, Safety and Resilience. He was responsible for the review and management of policies, procedures, business continuity and providing support to the organisation for health and safety and HR enquiries.ÌýÌý
