2022 First Year Challenge winners announced

Congratulations to group TUTN S2, our 2022 First Year Challenge winners, and group TUTL S3, our runners up.
The First Year Challenge is a multimedia assignment designed to introduce first year undergraduates to independent research and to academic collaboration as a prelude to their empirically-focused first year studies.
Small groups of students were assigned a specific meeting point in Central London. In their groups they were asked to produce a 3-minute multimedia clip relating to their meeting point and the theme ‘Capitalism, Growth and Inequality’, discussed in Unit 1 of The Economy, the free online textbook produced by .
The First Year Challenge promotes relationship-building among our large cohort which includes students from around the world and across the UK and highlights the diverse skills this varied study body brings to the table.
