Why Restorative Dentistry?

Restorative dentistry forms the backbone of contemporary primary care dentistry. The fieldÌýis constantly evolving as new techniques and materials are developed and the requirement for dentists to keep up-to-date becomes progressively more challenging and potentially rewarding.

Restorative dentistry covers a wide range of specialties, encompassing Prosthodontics, Aesthetics, Endodontics and Periodontics. The ability to predictably and accurately restore a patient’s dentition using an evidence-based approach in restorative dentistry can provide practitioners with a real sense of fulfilment and satisfaction.

Why Eastman?

Our MScÌýin Restorative Dental Practice is a renowned and highly-respected programme. It has been running for over 26Ìýyears.

In a relaxed atmosphere designed to facilitate small peer group learning, individuals can develop knowledge, skills and confidence in managing most of the everyday clinical challenges in restorative dentistry. We aim to provide an evidence-based approach to education during seminars, skills laboratory hands-on sessions, clinical teaching and reflective, peer-group discussions.ÌýWe assign personal tutors to students and also provide close support mentorship throughout the programme.

The programme has been designed to be flexible whilstÌýmaintaining its very high standard and rigour. After completing the relevant modules you can exit with a Postgraduate Certificate or Postgraduate Diploma. Completion of all modules will lead to a full Master'sÌýdegree.
