A minimum of three A grades at A-level or equivalent is required. Applicants should already have been offered a place at »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË and should have firmly accepted that offer or be intending to do so. Accepting UCL as an insurance offer does not satisfy the conditions relating to this scholarship.

The qualifications and backgrounds of candidates are considered by the Head of the Department of Civil, Environmental & Geomatic Engineering in accordance with the regulations above. Selection normally takes place in late August after the publication of A-level results.

The Scholarships may be terminated at any time when an unsatisfactory progress report is received from the Department of Civil, Environmental & Geomatic Engineering or if the conditions for the award of the scholarship (as stated above) are no longer satisfied. For the purpose of these scholarships, "satisfactory progress" has been determined as maintaining a standard equivalent to an upper second class degree throughout the course of study.

Payment of the Scholarship is normally made in a single instalment payable on 1st October.

The College reserves the right to vary these regulations should it become necessary to do so.

Awards are subject to the provisions of the UCL Academic Manual.
