Exploring the 'UCL Brain Bank'

Department: Psychology & Human Development

There is great potential to leverage the fantastic resources available in UCL collections. We believe those resources can be used to maximise student engagement and learning experience across a variety of courses and modules. In the previous year, the Brain and Behaviour module successfully employed the UCL Brain Bank (brain specimen from UCL Pathology Museum) in an enjoyable active lecture. Our aim within this project is to build on that foundation and use it as a model to extend it to other modules across UCL.
