At the UCL Institute for Sustainable ResourcesÌýour teaching and research focuses on a wide range of sustainability challenges – from transitions to net-zero energy systems, to circular economies and sustainable, healthy food systems.ÌýFounded in 2011Ìýby Professor Paul Ekins, we are one of four Institutes withinÌýThe Bartlett School of Environment, Energy and ResourcesÌýwith a shared mission to address the challenges of global sustainability.

Our faculty, The BartlettÌýwas ranked number one for research power in the built environment in the latest national research assessment (REF 2021), and 91% of our research was deemed ‘world leading’ and ‘internationally excellent’.ÌýThe BartlettÌýis ranked number oneÌýin the world in Architecture and the Built Environment, and remains #1 in the UK for the ninth year running, in theÌý.Ìý
