Innovation Diplomacy enthusiast, Sylvia Romanelli is a Chevening Scholar working at the intersection of Science, Technology & Innovation policies and Foreign Affairs. She advised the State of São Paulo in establishing international RD&I collaborations while leading the state’s 1st public policy focused on the internationalisation of startups. As Head of Entrepreneurship & Innovation at Swissnex, connected the dots between Brazilian and Swiss innovation players. In the entrepreneurial field, she led the operations of a social business with users in more than 100 countries. She contributed to UNDP and UNHCR’s projects and organises the local chapter of a global open innovation initiative.
