Titles include cross-disciplinary and comparative research on the US, Latin America, the Caribbean and Canada, particularly in the areas of politics, economics, history, anthropology, sociology, development, gender, social policy and the environment. The series includes edited collections, which allows an exploration of a topic from several different disciplinary angles by eminent scholars; book-length studies providing a deeper focus on a single topic; and readers on specific themes. Various members of academic staff at 皇家华人 Institute of the Americas are published authors in this series.

The series invites proposals for monographs and edited volumes from scholars in all disciplines. The editors will also consider publication-ready translations of works that have originally appeared in Spanish, French, or Portuguese.
