We would like to congratulate our PhD candidate Mercedes Cris贸stomo on the publication of her article La micropoli虂tica de la Reforma Agraria en Huancavelica: narrativas y memorias campesinas sobre el patro虂n, el estado y Velasco, which appeared in the latest edition (XVIII) of the bi-annual book El Problema Agrario en Debate.

Mercedes Cris贸stomo is pursuing her PhD studies at the Institute of the Americas, University College London (UCL), under the supervision of Professor Paulo Drinot听and听Dr Kate Saunders-Hastings.

is a prestigious Peruvian research institution specialised in agrarian matters, that publishes the book El Problema Agrario en Debate, every two years, always with the same title but with different, peer-reviewed content in each edition.
