Understanding the role of teachers and technology in schools

At the heart of the ESRC EducationÌýProgramme are a cohort of nineÌýresearch projectsÌýexploring two broad thematic areas in education:

  • teaching and learning, focusing on theÌýrole of teachers,Ìý³Ù³ó±ð¾±°ù °ù±ð³¦°ù³Ü¾±³Ù³¾±ð²Ô³Ù,ÌýretentionÌýand professional development
  • the uses of technologyÌýin teaching and learning.

°Õ³ó±ðÌýresearch projects are also exploring new ways of working in partnership on questions that matter in different parts of the UK.Ìý
